DIRECTOR OF VETERINARY MEDICINE
Dr. Meghann Kruck, DVM
Dr. Meghann Kruck has been with Bark and Bliss since our opening. She comes from a background of High Quality and High Volume Surgery, as well as several years of General Practice.
Dr. Meghann has performed well over 40,000 surgeries in her tenure and has a special place in her heart for senior pets, felines and bully breeds. She has been involved and on the board of several animal welfare organizations over the years, and enjoys collaborating with our local rescue organizations to continue bettering the lives of our local pet population.
Dr. Meghann enjoys spending her free time with her family, friends and her two Pitbulls, Rhino and Hippo, and a very spoilt Persian, Beez Wax.
VETERINARY TECHNICIAN & TRAVEL CONCIERGE
Tatiana Gelineau
Tatiana comes to us from Ottawa, Canada. She enjoys learning and is an excellent and patient teacher to our new staff and interns. Tatiana specializes in travel consultations for our clients on the move. Tatiana’s favourite parts of veterinary medicine are spending time with our hospitalized patients, and anything involving our feline patients. She has a cat named Ricky and at any time collection of fosters or neighbourhood animals who just need some love.

Amanda Thomson
Amanda Thomson is a seasoned veterinary professional with over 15 years of experience in clinical settings. She has volunteered internationally helping animals in South Africa and Mexico. She has extensive surgical experience having worked in surgery at an emergency and referral hospital in Oakville, Ontario. Outside of work, she loves exploring the great outdoors and spending time with her cat Gracie.

Ida B. Welch
Ida Welch was raised in Providenciales, where her love for animals began at a young age. Growing up on the island, she developed a natural connection with pets and a deep appreciation for their care and wellbeing.
Ida is known for her gentle approach, patience, and genuine care for every animal she works with. She is excited to continue growing in her craft and to provide a positive, comfortable grooming experience for both pets and their owners at Bark & Bliss.
DOCTOR OF VETERINARY MEDICINE
Dr. Joie St. John, DVM
Dr. Joie is a skilled veterinarian with a broad background in both companion animal and equine care. She earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine with Honours from the University of the West Indies and has since built a well-rounded clinical practice grounded in both medical expertise and genuine care for her patients.
At Bark & Bliss, Dr. St John focuses on preventative care, diagnostics, and surgery, with a calm and thoughtful approach that helps put both pets and their owners at ease.
In addition to her work with dogs and cats, Dr. St John brings valuable experience in equine medicine. She has worked extensively with horses, including sports medicine and race-day veterinary care as the official veterinarian for the Barbados Turf Club—experience that reflects her depth of knowledge and versatility as a clinician.

Demetria Saunders
Demetria Saunders is often the first point of contact at Bark & Bliss, and she plays a key role in creating a warm, welcoming experience for every client and their pet. With a strong background in hospitality, retail, and customer service, she brings a natural ease to client interactions and a genuine desire to help.
At Bark & Bliss, Demetria supports appointment coordination, client communication, and day-to-day front-of-house operations, ensuring everything runs smoothly for both the team and the clients we serve.
HISTORY
Bark & Bliss Animal Wellness Centre has been caring for pets since opening its doors in January 2017. Led by Dr. Meghann Kruck from day one, the clinic was founded by Aimee Deziel Zammit and Rob Hall, inspired by the love and joy of Dottie the pug. Today, Aimee remains the proud owner, continuing to support the clinic’s growth alongside her husband, John. At Bark & Bliss, we care for your pets like family.
